Galaxy Unpacked: Samsung may have already revealed the launch date and location for Galaxy Z Fold7, Flip7 and Watch 8

Speculation is still abound, as Samsung is yet to officially announce the date and location of Galaxy Unpacked, which is expected in mid-July 2025. However, a recent press release from Samsung on the subject of Galaxy wearables appears to indirectly mention the location and date for the upcoming Samsung event, at least in the eyes of our colleagues at SamMobile.

In the press release, Samsung announces a partnership with two of the largest running clubs in New York City and its sponsorship of running events in which Galaxy wearables will be demonstrated. The first of these running events is scheduled for July 13, 2025, and anyone can register for it. It's not unlikely that Samsung might also schedule the Galaxy Unpacked event on the same day, or at least at a similar time and location, and then use the summer running events to market its newly introduced wearables, namely the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.

Whether this speculation is true remains to be seen, but it's unlikely to be long before the official release date is announced. In addition to the new Galaxy Watch generation, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 are also expected. For the first time this year, a cheaper Fan Edition of the Flip7 will also be released, which may turn out to be good value for money.
