Leaker Arsène Lupin has shared new details about Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy Watch refresh, which is thought to include an updated Galaxy Watch Ultra after all (curr. $336.99 on Amazon). To recap, Evan Blass shared images of three unreleased Galaxy Watch models yesterday. Apparently, these are set to arrive this summer under the banners of the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic, as well as the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025).
According to Lupin, the Galaxy Watch8 will feature the greatest number of SKUs of the smartwatches that Samsung releases this year. Writing on X, Lupin reiterates that the Galaxy Watch8 will come in 40 mm and 44 mm sizes, each with Wi-Fi and LTE variants. On top of that, both sizes should be available in Graphite or Silver finishes.
Meanwhile, Samsung may only sell the Galaxy Watch8 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) in single sizes, with 46 mm for the former and 47 mm for the latter. So far, Lupin has mentioned that the Galaxy Watch8 Classic will match its cheaper sibling with Wi-Fi and LTE versions.
However, the Classic will land with Black and White colour options. By contrast, Samsung will distinguish the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) from its predecessor with a choice between Titanium Blue, Titanium Grey and Titanium Silver colour options. The new Apple Watch Ultra rival should debut with twice as much storage as its predecessor too, which Lupin specifies will run to 64 GB. Pricing for the three forthcoming Galaxy Watch smartwatches has not emerged yet, though.
