Looks like all three Galaxy Watch models coming out this year will adopt the squircle design introduced by the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Renders for the three, including the base Galaxy Watch8, have surfaced online showing the design.

Samsung is rumored to unveil three smartwatches at its Unpacked event next month, two of which will be the Watch8 models and the third is said to be the next Galaxy Watch Ultra. According to a new leak, the entire lineup will feature the squircle design introduced by the original Galaxy Watch Ultra, including the base Galaxy Watch8. It should be noted that Samsung has not shared any information on the upcoming smartwatch series.

The leak comes from Android Headlines in the form of CAD renders for the three smartwatch models. The Galaxy Watch8 Classic and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 are easily identifiable thanks to the rotating bezel on the former and the thicker form factor of the latter. However, the base Galaxy Watch8 can also be seen with the squircle dial, albeit more subtle than the other two.

The render for the Galaxy Watch8 shows a silver variant with two buttons on the right side and a standard white strap. It is said that there will be two sizes for the upcoming smartwatch, 40mm and 44mm, just like the Galaxy Watch7 (Buy on Amazon).

Recently, the Galaxy Watch8 Classic showed up on eBay which also presented a squircle design with the rotating bezel and the Quick button, flanked by two other buttons. The Quick button was introduced with the Galaxy Watch Ultra (Buy on Amazon) and it is returning with the 2025 successor, along with pretty much the same overall design. It was also reported that the Galaxy Watch8 series will use the same SoC as the Watch7 series. They will get a minor battery upgrade, but with the same charging speeds.

As mentioned earlier, Samsung has not shared any information on the upcoming Galaxy Watch8 series so take this information with a grain of salt. The company has not shared a date for the rumored July Unpacked event, yet.
