GameSir has confirmed more details about its upcoming G7 Pro wireless controller. Available to pre-order later this week, the company has already revealed a launch discount code that will drop the G7 Pro's retail price by 5%. On top of that, the company has confirmed that a version that can communicate with Xbox consoles wirelessly is coming, too.

GameSir has been rather busy lately. Towards the end of last month, the company released the Nova 2 Lite and the T3 Lite at different price points. Shortly afterwards it revealed the T7 Pro Floral with an eye catching design.

Now, it has moved on to the G7 Pro, which it unveiled earlier this year as an Xbox Elite Series 2 (curr. $159 on Amazon) alternative. While GameSir is not ready to tell all about the G7 Pro yet, it will do so when pre-orders open later this week. In the meantime, GameSir and its CEO have shared a few details about the G7 Pro ahead of time, which they position as its' flagship product'.

To that end, the G7 Pro features TMR joysticks, optional micro-switch buttons, new bumper buttons and a refined software experience. GameSir's latest controller is also said to deliver a 1,000 Hz wireless polling rate, which it complements with 6 ms input lag when connected to a device via its 2.4 GHz dongle. Incidentally, the controller maintains gyroscope controls in 2.4 GHz mode, too. The G7 Pro supports GameSir's swappable faceplate system and will come with a charging dock in the box.

Unfortunately, protocol restrictions prevent GameSir from providing Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 support. Also, the G7 Pro can only communicate with an Xbox via a wired connection. Apparently, GameSir hopes to sell a wireless Xbox version too. However, GameSir does not expect this variant to be available before the end of Q3 2025 at the earliest. Even then, this version will retail for more than the G7 Pro that launches later this week.

GameSir will begin selling the G7 Pro on June 16 through its retail platform. As it stands, the controller should start for $79.99 given the company's announcements a few months ago. Alternatively, a 5% discount will be available on launch day when applying the code G7PROWHEN, which should drop the G7 Pro's price to around $75.99.
