The Epic Games Store has kicked off another free mobile game giveaway for Android and iOS gamers. To recap, the storefront discounted Ogu and the Secret Forest last week in a deal that it claimed was worth $24.99 in total. With that deal having now been wrapped up, Epic Games has pivoted to providing two games this week that will be free to add to your Epic Games library until 15:00 UTC on June 19.
As the videos below suggest, this week's giveaways are Shapez and DC Heroes United. Please note that DC Heroes United is a free-to-play title. However, Epic claims to have included $70 worth of in-game items across both platforms. For reference, DC Heroes United averages 3.6/5 stars on Android but 4.1/5 on iOS. The full list of in-game items is as follows:
- Troika Batman Skin: A new, free skin exclusive to Epic Games Store for mobile users
- 1,000,000 Credits
- 1,000 Gems
- 5 Item Keys
- 10 Hero Keys
- 50 Level Up Tokens
- 100 Random Blueprints
Meanwhile, Epic Games will sell Shapez for $6.99 in future on both platforms. Described as a 'relaxed game', Shapez has you solving puzzles to build factories that produce geometric shapes. As you rank up, these shapes increase in complexity before the game throws colour-based problem-solving into the mix. Currently, Shapez averages 4.4/5 and 4.5/5 on Android and iOS, respectively. Please see Epic Games' website for more details. Alternatively, you can grab all of this week's giveaways via this instant checkout link if you are already logged into an Epic Games account on your browser.
