Deal | Epic Games Store reveals new free game giveaway for Android and iOS gamers alike
Another Thursday means a fresh mobile game giveaway on the Epic Games Store. Having discounted Limbo last week, the storefront has now turned its attention to Ogu and the Secret Forest. As a result, Epic has aligned its mobile game giveaway program with its PC equivalent for another week. However, the latter adds a second tasty morsel worth $59.99, too.
According to Epic Games, Ogu and the Secret Forest would be worth $24.99 when purchased on Android or iOS. As a result, it considers this week's deal to be worth a combined $49.98 when redeemed together. With that being said, Sinkhole Studio distributes Ogu and the Secret Forest for free via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
For reference, this week's giveaway achieves solid, if unspectacular, ratings on Android and iOS. At the time of writing, Ogu and the Secret Forest averages 3.8/5 on Android smartphones but 4.1/5 on tablets. Conversely, the game has amassed an average of 3.6/5 on iOS and iPadOS. Please note that you must have an iPhone or iPad that can run at least iOS 12.0 or iPadOS 12.0, respectively. Thankfully, this includes almost all iPhones and iPads released in the last few years, including entry-level models like the basic iPad (curr. $299 on Amazon).
