The Epic Games Store has started its latest round of PC game giveaways as it brings another Mega Sale period to a close. While the storefront had already confirmed that it would be discounting another two games by 100% this week, it had revealed exactly which titles it would be pulling from its vaults. Nonetheless, a reliable leaker got the jump earlier today by revealing the names of the two games ahead of time.
As expected, the two games in question are Deathloop (curr. $19.99 on Amazon) and Ogu and the Secret Forest, which generally cost $59.99 and $24.99 apiece in a deal worth a combined $84.98. Please note that you only must add these games to your Epic Games account before June 12 at 15:00 UTC; there is no need to download either before that cut-off. For reference, the two games carry the following recommended system requirements:
Deathloop | Ogu and the Secret Forest | |
---|---|---|
Operating System | Windows 10 version 1909 or higher (64-bit) | Windows 10/macOS 10.14+ |
CPU | AMD Ryzen 7 2700X/Intel Core i7-9700K or equivalent | Dual core with 2.2 GHz (2.0 GHz macOS) clock speeds or faster |
GPU | AMD Radeon RX 5700 (8 GB)/Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 (6 GB) or equivalent | A GPU with 2 GB VRAM |
RAM | 16 GB | 16 GB/4 GB (macOS) |
Storage | 30 GB | 10 GB |
Please note Epic's latest giveaway only includes the base version of Deathloop. As a result, the storefront is not providing any DLCs, add-ons or the game's Deluxe Edition. By contrast, no such caveats exist for Ogu and the Secret Forest.
For context, Deathloop averages 88/100 on OpenCritic and 87/100 on Metacritic for the game's PC release. Meanwhile, has achieved an overall 'Very Positive' rating on Steam from over 1,500 reviews. Please see Epic Games' Deathloop and Ogu and the Secret Forest store listings for more information.
