Earlier today RedMagic introduced the Gaming Tablet 3 Pro, which it will soon offer globally as the RedMagic Astra. To recap, both tablets rival Lenovo's recent gaming tablets either a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 165 Hz OLED display and fast wired charging.
To underline the tablet's gaming credentials, RedMagic has also introduced the Shadow Blade 3 Controller. Joining the RedMagic Blade controller that has also arrived today, the Shadow Blade 3 is a telescopic mobile controller like 8BitDo's Ultimate Mobile Controller (curr. $49.99 on Amazon).
Like 8BitDo's controller, the Shadow Blade 3 is compatible with devices of various sizes, not just RedMagic's latest gaming tablet. On top of that, the telescopic controller can be combined with RedMagic's mobile cooling accessories. As the image below shows, RedMagic has also included a translucent casing that hides micro switches, programmable buttons, linear motors and built-in RGB lighting. For some reason, RedMagic has not confirmed full hardware details yet. Nonetheless, the Shadow Blade 3 is said to be already available in China for CNY 599 (~$83). There is no word yet on global availability, either.
