1800p gaming without dGPU: OneXPlayer Super V tablet muscles AAA games to smooth FPS thanks to Intel Panther Lake

The arrival of the Intel Arc B390 iGPU inside the Intel Panther Lake chips has made it possible for laptop and tablet makers to build thin-and-light devices that can play AAA games without needing any RTX or Radeon mobile GPU. Intel could soon also bring this Panther Lake goodness to handheld gaming consoles with the Arc G3 chips. For now, you can get the OneXPlayer Super V, a powerful tablet that can function as both a gaming system and a mobile workstation.
In fact, ETA Prime has now shown that, courtesy of the Core Ultra X7 358H, the OneXPlayer Super V can play AAA games at 1800p resolution at smooth framerates. The tablet can be configured at up to 65 W. So, the 16-core Core Ultra X7 358H has a big power budget to run, and that shows in the final performance.
In Cyberpunk 2077, the OneXPlayer Super V can run the game at over 45 FPS on average at 1800 resolution with “High” settings. More impressively, enabling 4x XeSS Frame Generation takes the FPS all the way up to 110. Intel’s XeSS Frame Generation works quite well on even iGPUs. So, the upcoming Panther Lake handheld gaming consoles will also be able to take advantage of this.
The OneXPlayer Super V also performed quite well in Red Dead Redemption 2, clocking an average FPS of 66. This is at 1440p with “High” graphics. Sadly, there is no official XeSS support in Red Dead Redemption 2. But you can use FSR to get a higher framerate.
Moving on to Resident Evil Requiem, which is arguably one of the best-looking games to come out in 2026, it is great to see the Arc B390 playing the game at more than 60 FPS, at 1800p/”High” settings. This becomes more impressive when we consider that the Core Ultra X7 358H wasn’t even using the full 65 W, stabilizing around 40 W.
Finally, no matter how powerful it is, the Arc B390 is still just an iGPU that will feel underpowered in some demanding titles. For instance, in Crimson Desert, the OneXPlayer Super V gaming tablet could only manage around 40 FPS at 1800p/”High” with XeSS set to balanced. So, the game requires XeSS MFG if you want to play it above 60 FPS without reducing any graphical settings. ETA Prime shows that enabling the built-in 4x XeSS MFG pushes Crimson Desert to above 80 FPS.

ETA Prime also tests other games like Forza Horizon 5. So, check out the full video linked below.
OneXPlayer Super V is just too expensive
One of the biggest issues with high-end Intel Panther Lake laptops is the price. Whether due to low yield or overall reduced supply, Intel Panther Lake chips are expensive. This is also true for the OneXPlayer Super V tablet.
At the time of writing, the OneXPlayer Super V costs $1,899.99 with a Core Ultra X7 358H, 48 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage. For reference, the Asus ROG Flow Z13 gaming tablet (check out our full review), a direct competitor to the OneXPlayer Super V, is also available for $1,899.99 on Amazon, featuring the AMD Ryzen AI Max 390 Strix Halo APU and 32 GB of RAM.
