MSI launching new 8-inch gaming handheld with Intel Arc G3 Extreme and 120 Hz display for €1,599

An Italian retailer has just revealed pricing information for MSI's long-awaited Glacier Blue refresh of the Claw 8 AI+. At the same time, Ollo Store has shared initial information about the Claw 8 EX AI+, evidence of which we have embedded below.
For context, MSI has launched the Claw 7 AI+, Claw 8 AI+ and the Claw A8 (curr. $1,299 on Amazon) in the last eighteen months or so. According to Ollo Store, the Claw 8 EX AI+ leverages the Arc G3 Extreme, an unannounced chipset that surfaced in January and reappeared earlier this month.
Additionally, the retailer mentions that the Claw 8 EX AI+ contains 32 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage and an 8-inch display. If that does not already sound familiar, then this display is said to output at 1200p and 120 Hz just like the Claw 8 AI+ and Claw A8 before it.
Moreover, Ollo Store has priced MSI's unreleased handheld at €1,599 (~$1,869). While on the high side, this pricing is only €20 more than Lenovo now charges for the Ryzen Z2 version of the Legion Go 2. Also, Ollo Store suggests that the Claw 8 EX AI+ will be available in a 'Void Purple' finish. Coincidentally, MSI showcased a purple handheld dubbed 'Polar Void' during CES 2026 in January. Currently, Claw 8 EX AI+ is expected to officially debut at Computex 2026 between June 2 and June 5.
