Philips Hue Dymera indoor and outdoor wall light now available

The Dymera was revealed alongside other smart home lights and lighting accessories earlier this year. Designed for use indoors or outdoors, the product contains two light sources stacked one on top of the other underneath the black metal cover. The lights can be controlled together or separately, with options for dimmable white and colored light. The lamp has a maximum brightness of 1,020 lumens, with the white color temperature adjustable between 2,000 and 6,500K. Each light source is expected to last 25,000 hours and is replaceable, though Signify recommends using a professional rather than attempting this yourself.

Like other Philips Hue products, the Dymera can be controlled via the brand’s app. You must connect the light to a Hue Bridge for outdoor use, allowing voice controls and integration with smart home ecosystems like Apple Home and Amazon Alexa. In other recent news, Signify has announced its intention to improve support for multiple Hue Bridges connected to the same Philips Hue account.
