Yeelight launches new Obsid RGBIC Light Strip with game sync
The Yeelight Obsid RGBIC Light Strip is now available worldwide. The smart light was unveiled at IFA 2023 alongside the Beam RGBIC Light Bar, both Matter-compatible devices. This lets you connect them to various smart home control centers and use voice assistant controls.
The Obsid RGBIC Light Strip has around 16 million colors and various white color temperatures to suit your mood or activity. Also available is a range of preset lighting effects, or you can create your own with bead-level controls. Another option is to set the lighting to sync with your music, screen color or game; these features are available without linking a camera. The light strip has a charcoal-colored background, making it easier to conceal on darker surfaces. The standard pack contains a trimmable 6.56 ft (~2.0 m) light strip and a control box. Plus, you can add more lights with up to three optional extension packs, each with a 3.28 ft (~1 m) strip.
You can currently buy the Yeelight Obsid RGBIC Light Strip for the discounted price of $59.99/£49.00/CA$84.00; the product's RRP is $69.99/£57.00/CA$97.00. The device is not reduced in the EU, retailing for €56.95. The extension pack is priced at $16.99/£14.00/CA$24.00/€15.95.
