Philips Hue's new pendant smart light product now available
The Philips Hue Pendant light cord for filament bulbs is now on sale in the EU. The smart home lighting accessory was announced earlier this year alongside various other devices like the Philips Hue Dymera wall light and the Philips Hue Secure floodlight camera. The cord and 3D printed fixture made from recycled materials allow you to hang a decorative light bulb in your home without a shade.
Customers in countries including the Netherlands, France and Germany can purchase the product directly from the company. The Pendant light cord for filament bulbs is offered in four versions to suit medium and large bulbs in black and white colorways. You can buy the Pendant light cord for medium filament bulbs for €59.99 and the large version for €69.99. The company is also offering a wide range of kits at a reduced price, which includes the new accessory and one of the following smart bulbs: Filament G125 globe bulb, Edison Filament ST72 bulb and Filament G93 globe bulb.
For example, you can currently buy the Medium black pendant light cord for filament bulbs + Filament G125 warm white to cool white globe bulb for the discounted price of €99.99 or the Large white pendant light cord for filament bulbs + Edison Filament ST72 warm white to cool white bulb for €119.99. When the product was announced, Signify did not indicate plans to launch it in countries like the US or the UK.
