Recent leaks have suggested that DJI is on the verge of releasing several new action cameras. Apparently, the Osmo 360 and Osmo Nano will arrive within a week of each other next month on July 15 and July 23, respectively. However, it seems that Insta360 may not be far behind with a new model.
To recap, the company introduced the Insta360 X5 (curr. $549 on Amazon) only a few months ago. Nonetheless, early images of a completely different model has now surfaced on social media. Recirculated by the likes of Igor Bogdanov on X, one image shows not only an unreleased camera but also what looks like an inductive charging accessory with what appears to be Insta360 Go 4S inscribed. With that being said, we would expect Insta360 to unveil the Go 4 before the Go 4S.
As far as we can tell, the camera has a front-facing shutter button too. Unfortunately, neither Bogdanov or others have revealed additional details yet. While the camera looks relatively compact, it looks much larger than last year's Insta360 Go 3S. The timing would align with recent Insta360 Go series refreshes, though. Presumably, more pictures and details about this upcoming action camera will likely appear online soon.
