Jasper Ellens has shared new details about upcoming DJI releases, shortly after the Osmo 360 was spotted undergoing public testing. According to the leaker, three of the four are due this summer, with one occurring in about a month’s time.
Unfortunately, the Osmo Action 6 is not in line for a summer launch. Instead, Ellens advises that people find a good deal on the Osmo Action 5 Pro (curr. $339 on Amazon). Nonetheless, an autumn launch would align with the first anniversary of the Osmo Action 5 Pro, which debuted on September 19, 2024.
In the meantime, Ellens believes that the Osmo 360 will be first up come July 15. If that date proves accurate, then we should see the first official DJI teaser arrive by around July 8. Surprisingly, the Osmo Nano is said to be only a week behind with a July 23 release date. As a result, we imagine DJI will begin teasing the Osmo Nano about 24 hours after it starts selling the Osmo 360.
Ellens reports that DJI could be plotting to introduce the rumoured Mic 3 before the end of July, too. Specifically, the leaker claims that DJI is targeting July 29 for the Mic 3, which would see teasers arriving just a day before the debut of the Osmo Nano. Based on recent rumours, these devices will preface the announcement of new drones this autumn like the Mini 5 Pro and the Neo 2, among others.
