Baseus Spacemate 11-Port USB-C Dock unleashed on US market with up to 45% introductory discount
Baseus touts its new Spacemate as the ultimate departure from the traditional laptop docking solution with a build that makes it look much more like a cutting-edge mini tower PC, largely thanks to a front panel replete with status LEDs. They relate to the 11 ports found either also on its front or ranged in portrait mode to the rear.
Some are for the dock's quad Data Transfer Outputs for up to 10 gigabits per second (10Gb/s) each, 1 of which is a USB-C 3.2 port whereas the others are USB type-A. There is a second type-C port, although it is for 100W Power Input only.
There are also 'monitor' LEDs that track the number of external screens connected to an assortment of 4 HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, 3 of which can maintain 4K/60Hz feeds at once thanks to Baseus' Multi-Stream Transport technology (which is not compatible with Macs, however).
The Spacemate's RJ-45 and 3.5mm jack also have their corresponding LED symbols. Users are also free to pick the dock up without disrupting its chosen position on their desk thanks to its innovative magnetic base system.
It might also make taking the Spacemate out to a meeting easier if necessary, which is also where the advantage of its top-mounted One-Click Screen-Off button to kill all connected displays at once might kick in.
Baseus' latest I/O expansion gadget has now been released to retail following its CES 2024 debut with an list price of $199.99 - however, it is down to $119.99 (-40%) on Amazon - with an extra $10 off coupon - for a limited time.
