Xiaomi has teased the new Redmi Watch Move, which will launch in India shortly. The smartwatch has been officially announced on social media, with additional information leaking on X.
The event page on the Xiaomi India site confirms that this smartwatch has a square AMOLED display. Reputable leaker Mukul Sharma revealed that Xiaomi is claiming it is the “brightest & smoothest” display of its kind. Images show that this is surrounded by a slim bezel, with a digital crown seen on the right-hand side. The pictures suggests that one version of the watch will have a black case and silicone strap, and another will have a gold/white colorway.
Another apparent claim made by the company is 98.5% accuracy for its fitness tracking, though further details are not provided. The leaked marketing images also indicate that the wearable runs on Xiaomi HyperOS. Plus, the wearable is rumored to offer a 14-day battery life.
The full specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Watch Move are expected to be revealed at its launch, scheduled for April 21st 2025 in India. The price of this mid-range smartwatch has yet to be announced. As a rough guide, the Redmi Watch 5 Active retails for ₹4,999 (curr. $40.48 at Amazon US). It is unclear whether or when this device could launch in other markets.
