Garmin has released another beta update for the Fenix 7 and related smartwatches. Beta version 21.06 arrived a couple of days after beta version 21.05, which brought a range of bug fixes to these wearables.
According to the change log for beta version 21.06, this new release offers improvements to the breathing variations page, found within sleep analysis. Plus, there are said to be miscellaneous user interface (UI) fixes, though no further details are provided.
Unfortunately, a bug which causes these watches to reboot cyclically does not appear to be resolved with this update. Users started to report this issue after installing beta version 21.04 on various watch models. It has been presented during running activities, Garmin Coach workouts or when shutting down the wearable. Plus, after downloading version 21.06, users have also flagged issues with Garmin Coach training plans and empty glances.
Garmin beta version 21.06 is now available for the Fenix 7, Fenix 7 Pro (47mm Solar Sapphire curr. $639 at Amazon), Epix 2, Epix 2 Pro, Enduro 2, Quatix 2 and Marq Gen 2 smartwatches; the company notes that this update is not available for the Tactix 7 or Marq Aviator Gen 2. You can join the Garmin beta program via the Garmin Connect website.
