Xiaomi 18 Fold with Xring O3 dominates latest smartphone performance chart

AnTuTu has finally revealed its performance rankings for the month of September. The popular benchmark typically publishes a monthly list of the best-performing devices tested on its platform, with scores averaged out, and at the top of the pile sits the Xiaomi 18 Fold this time out.
The Xiaomi foldable debuted in China over a month ago and looks to be a performance stalwart, thanks to its chipset: Xiaomi's in-house Xring O3. Xring O3 has been put through a myriad of tests since its release and typically trades blows with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, despite being built on an older manufacturing process.
While the chart itself doesn't show how the Xiaomi 18 Fold's total score is split across the CPU, GPU, and memory tests, the report indicates that it gets an uplift from its 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, with the former in particular being LPDDR6 RAM—an industry first.
Second, third, and fourth place all go to devices powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6: Vivo's iQOO 16, the Honor Magic 9 Pro Max, and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, in that order. In fifth place is the only Dimensity 9600 Pro device on the list: the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max.
