OnePlus 16 officially hits AnTuTu with Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 but missing LPDDR6 RAM

OnePlus is geared to launch the OnePlus 16 soon. The company has already begun teasing it, hinting at an imminent launch in China. Although its launch event is likely a few weeks away, the flagship phone debuted on Geekbench days ago and has now made a similar trip to AnTuTu.

As shared by the official AnTuTu page on Weibo, the OnePlus 16—coded as "PYB110"—arrived on the benchmark featuring Qualcomm's all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Qualcomm's new flagship chipset supports LPDDR6 memory, but it appears OnePlus will be sticking with the older RAM standard for this generation. Or, at least, on this specific configuration of the OnePlus 16.

The OnePlus 16 performs quite well, however, with a total score of 5,384,433 on AnTuTu V12. Comparatively, the most powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 device on the same version of the benchmark, the Lenovo Y700 Gen 5, is listed with a total score of 4,585,575. AnTuTu V12 remains in the public beta stage, unfortunately, making further comparisons on specific tests almost impossible.
