OnePlus 16 officially revealed with up to 1TB storage and three colorways

OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 15 in October 2025 as its flagship smartphone. Now, the company has opened reservations for the new OnePlus 16 in China. The phone's design, color options, and memory configurations have also been revealed.

The design language of the OnePlus 16 looks similar to its predecessor, with a square rear camera module in the upper-left corner. It houses three cameras and an LED flash.

The OnePlus 16 comes in three colorways: "Tomorrow's Starlight", "Dark Forest", and "Mars Masterpiece". The "Tomorrow's Starlight" option has a light-colored finish and features what the company calls a "silk glass" process to resist fingerprints.

The phone is listed in four memory configurations: 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. OnePlus has not yet shared an official release date for the phone. Availability outside China remains unlikely, as OnePlus has ended new product rollouts in Europe and North America, while a leak suggests that the OnePlus 16 may also skip India.

Leaked details of the OnePlus 16

According to previous leaks, the OnePlus 16 will feature Qualcomm's next-generation flagship chipset, expected to be called the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. The chipset is said to be built on a 2nm process and support the LPDDR6 memory standard. Furthermore, the OnePlus 16 is expected to pack a large 9,000mAh battery, up from 7,300mAh on its predecessor (curr. $697 on TradingShenzhen). It is expected to sport a 200MP 1/1.4-inch primary camera.
