Oppo officially releases 10,000mAh phone in global markets
The Oppo A7 Pro Max 5G was introduced as a mid-range smartphone in China in August 2026. The company has now expanded the phone’s availability beyond China to markets including Austria, Malaysia, and Thailand.
One of the key highlights of the phone is its large 10,000mAh battery. It supports 80W wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging. On the front, the A7 Pro Max 5G sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,772 × 1,272 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone has a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization and a secondary 2MP monochrome sensor. A 50MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls. However, video recording is limited to 1080p at 30fps on both the front and rear cameras.
Other features include IP69K water and dust resistance, NFC, and an optical in-display fingerprint reader. It runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
The Oppo A7 Pro Max 5G comes in a 6GB/256GB configuration in Austria, listed at €599 (~$688). Meanwhile, the company offers the 8GB/256GB variant in Malaysia and Thailand, listed at MYR 2,299 (~$563) and THB 19,999 (~$600), respectively. The smartphone is offered in Surfing Blue and Lunar Black in all three markets.
