Oppo officially releases 8,000mAh phone globally with 120Hz AMOLED display

Following its release in China, the Oppo A7 Pro 5G is now listed on the company’s official global website and has launched in international markets, including Malaysia and Thailand. The smartphone sits below the A7 Pro Max 5G in the company’s lineup, offering a smaller display and battery.
On the front, the smartphone sports a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,372 × 1,080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It packs an 8,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 10W wired reverse charging support. For comparison, the A7 Pro Max 5G has a larger 6.78-inch display and a 10,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
Under the hood, the A7 Pro 5G features the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The rear camera setup comprises a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. It has a 50MP front camera with autofocus.
The phone carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. It measures 8.8mm thick and weighs approximately 205g. The phone comes in Surfing Blue, Shine Titanium, and Bloom Pink color options, depending on the region. Other features include NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and Android 16-based ColorOS 16.
In Thailand, the Oppo A7 Pro 5G is listed at THB 13,999 (~$420) for the 8GB/128GB model and THB 15,999 (~$480) for the 8GB/256GB variant. In Malaysia, the Oppo A7 Pro 5G is listed at MYR 1,599 (~$391) for the 6GB/256GB model and MYR 1,799 (~$440) for the 8GB/256GB variant.
