Vivo X500 Pro gets two 16GB RAM variants

The Vivo X500 Pro series made its debut in China on September 21. The series includes the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, both of which are powered by MediaTek's new Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. The two phones were announced in multiple RAM and storage configurations at the launch event, but Vivo has quietly released more configurations for the Vivo X500 Pro.

At the launch event, Vivo announced the X500 Pro in three configurations — a base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 12GB RAM + 512GB version, and a 12GB RAM + 1TB variant. Now that the phone has appeared on retail sites for pre-order, buyers have noticed it is also available in two 16GB RAM variants. Below are their prices:

• 16GB + 512GB - CNY 7,999 (~$1,195/€1,044)
• 16GB + 1TB - CNY 8,999 (~$1,344/€1,175)

The Vivo X500 Pro Max is also available in 16GB RAM variants with the same storage options as the regular pro model. There's a 512GB version that costs CNY 8499 (~$1269/€1109) and a 1TB version that is priced at CNY 9499 (~$1,418/€1,240).

The prices above are for the phone only. If you choose to purchase an accessory such as the telephoto extender kit or secondary display, the price increases. Nevertheless, Vivo has begun accepting pre-orders for the two X500 Pro phones ahead of their release on October 15.

Vivo has confirmed that the X500 series will get a global release, but it remains to be seen which configurations will be made available outside of China.
