Global Vivo X500 series and X Fold 6 launch officially confirmed: How to get a discount for the Zeiss camera flagships in Europe

Yesterday, September 21, the first of China’s five largest smartphone manufacturers unveiled their new generation of camera flagships. In addition to the entry-level Vivo X500 model, there are two Pro models with different sizes and feature sets: the smaller Vivo X500 Pro and the new top-of-the-line Vivo X500 Pro Max. New wearables were also unveiled in China, including a smartwatch and the new Buds Clip. Just a few hours after the China launch, the first global Vivo division has now revealed the first official information for Vivo fans in Europe.

The European launch date and initial details about preorder deals and discounts were announced via newsletter. The new event page for the Vivo X500 EU launch already shows a countdown to the launch on October 27 at 4:00 p.m. CET, and it has also reveals which X500 series models are coming to Europe. Interestingly, Vivo has chosen to launch the two Pro models in Europe but not the entry-level Vivo X500. Anyone who wants the latter will therefore have to import it from China, while the Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max will also be officially available in EU.

Anyone who is interested can also claim a €120 voucher on the event page, which will be deducted from the purchase price after availability. It remains to be seen whether there will be any further preorder deals. Initial official information about the European launch of the Vivo X Fold 6 is also available. The Zeiss camera foldable,which we already reviewed, will be available from October 1 in the official online store. In addition to extended warranty coverage, buyers will also receive the Watch GT 2 free of charge. Last but not least, Vivo has also announced the global launch of several other IoT products, including the new Buds Clip, Vivo Buds Ultra and Vivo Headphone Studio headphones.
