Xiaomi 18 Pro series available globally: Free shipping on all imports for a limited time only
Last week, Vivo, Oppo, and Xiaomi unveiled their latest camera flagships. While the Vivo X500 series and the Oppo Find X10 generation are coming to Europe and other international markets in the next few weeks, Xiaomi has not given us an official global launch date yet. Yes, for the first time in years, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and/or Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will also be coming to global markets. However, no one can currently say for sure when that is going to happen exasctly. The timeframe rumored ranges from December 2026 to February 2027, so it could take some time before Xiaomi brings the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 flagships to your area officially.
In addition, comparatively higher prices and smaller batteries are to be expected. Anyone who wants to get the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max as soon as possible and with their maximum battery size will therefore have to import from China. This is now possible through all the known retailers, we will however focus on the least expensive one by comparison, which we can also recommend based on our own experience: TradingShenzhen. The Xiaomi 18 Pro generation is also available from retailers such as Wondamobile, Giztop, AverageDad, and Trinity Electronics in Hong Kong. The latter may be slightly cheaper for some models, although their prices do not seem to include taxes for your region.
How much it costs to import
The more compact 6.4-inch model currently starts at TradingShenzhen at 857 euros for 12/256 GB or US$976 1,037 euros for 12/512 GB (US$1,181), 1,207 euros for 16/512 GB (US$ 1,375) and 1,477 euros for 16 GB/1 TB (US$1,682). The 6.9-inch Xiaomi 18 Pro Max starts at 1,127 euros for 12/256 GB (US$1,284), 1,297 euros for 12/512 GB (US$1,477), 1,387 euros for 16/512 GB (US$ 1,580), and 1,557 euros for 16 GB/1 TB (US$1,774). The higher storage options in particular have risen significantly in price compared to last year. For both the Xiaomi 18 Pro and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, the transparent red color option can also be added to the cart in the 1 TB version, although it costs even more. Interestingly, TradingShenzhen currently charges more only for the smaller model: 1,877 euros for the Xiaomi 18 Pro. By contrast, the red Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is still listed at 1,557 euros, presumably due to an error in the online store that will be corrected soon—this option was not yet available to order as of September 26 anyway. Limitations of the Chinese model
All Xiaomi 18 Pro models offer full network support, including LTE band 20 and the usual 5G bands. Network problems outside China are therefore not expected. According to TradingShenzhen, German, Spanish, Portuguese and French language options are now finally available in addition to English with the Chinese version of HyperOS 4. This was not the case in the past, but it should still be confirmed before purchasing, especially since the FAQs contain conflicting information on this. Android Auto is unlikely to work, and neither eSIM nor WearOS support is available. Last but not least you will have to make do with a warranty of only one year compared to some regions like Europe where buyers usually enjoy longer warranty times. Google apps, including Google Pay, won`t be a problem although Quick Share is likely to be missing, and setting up Gemini as the default AI assistant will require workarounds.
