Vivo X500 Pro Max: Creator shows impressive 4K video footage while Vivo releases official renders in fresh colors

As of yesterday, September 8, it is finally official when the Vivo X500 series will be unveiled for the first time, although the only genuinely new information on that day is likely gonna be the final sales prices in China. The remaining details are already leaking out days or even weeks in advance, particularly through the many informative teasers by Vivo product manager Han Boxiao on Weibo, which we have already covered extensively over the past few days.
Today, Vivo has finally confirmed the Vivo X500 Pro Max's design that was leaked in the form of spy shots several weeks ago. As can be seen in the extremely high-resolution render image below, there will be at least two color options: a slightly bluish shade of gray and a rather vivid orange. Also visible is the protective case with a mount for the 400 mm teleconverter familiar from the Vivo X300 Ultra. The grip also appears to be very similar to that of the Ultra model, which is now a little less expensive on Amazon in Germany for instance.
Promo video delivers on early Vivo X500 Pro Max footage
The promotional video found on the manufacturer's Weibo profile is also likely to be of interest to Vivo fans. We transferred it to YouTube in 4K quality, allowing you to assess some of the very impressive footage from the Vivo X500 Pro Max camera starting at around the 1:40 mark. Han Boxiao has already posted short video samples and a first photo taken with the new telephoto camera, but this is the first time we can see what a professional travel blogger and creator can get out of the Vivo X500 Pro Max's new Zeiss cameras. As always, a necessary disclaimer: these are presumably carefully curated shots captured by a professional. Nevertheless, the footage offers a preview of what will be possible with the camera flagships set to become available in global markets like India or Europe in just a few weeks. Those more interested in the cheaper and significantly upgraded Vivo X500 base model can also find news today in the form of an early unboxing video.
