Global Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max Zeiss camera flagships now available, in more versions than expected (hands-on)

One of the first global Vivo X500 Pro Max flagships has been my faithful companion since late September, following me on a trip through Brazil, with an even more exciting destination coming soon. You can already read my first impressions here, with plenty of photos from two destinations in this beautiful Latin American country. More will be coming in the next few weeks.
Following the major European launch in sunny Tenerife today, October 27, 2026, Europeans can now also enjoy the benefits of the latest Zeiss camera flagships—at least the compact 6.36-inch Vivo X500 Pro and the 6.85-inch Vivo X500 Pro Max. The standard Vivo X500, however, has to be imported from China. Importing is also recommended for anyone looking to save money, as the global models sold in Europe are unfortunately far from cheap in these dire RAMageddon times.
More storage options, but only 12 GB of RAM
The leaks ahead of the launch were largely correct, but did not reveal everything: at least the Vivo X500 Pro Max is available to buy in three storage options. It starts at €1,599 (US$1,791) with 256 GB of storage, costs €1,799 (US$ 2,015) with 512 GB, and €2,199 (US$ 2,463) with 1 TB. The latter will be available exclusively from the official Vivo shop in Europe; otherwise, the Vivo X500 series will once again also be available from selected mobile carriers and retailers such as Amazon. It is important to note that, unlike the Chinese models, even the 1 TB version only comes with only 12 GB of RAM in Europe. Anyone who really wants the top-end 16GB/1TB version will have to import it from China.
Vivo X500 Pro and preorder deals
The Vivo X500 Pro is available with 256 GB of storage for €1,399 (US$ 1,567). Anyone who has already registered for a discount €120 voucher will, of course, be able to deduct that amount when placing their order. There are also other preorder deals for anyone who orders by November 30. X500 Pro Max buyers receive the camera grip free of charge, while Vivo will throw in the Headphone Studio headphones with the X500 Pro for free. Vivo is also offering a 50 percent discount on accessories and wearables. The regular list prices for some of these products are as follows:
- 200mm telephoto extender: €299 (US$335)
- 400mm telephoto extender: €459 (US$515)
- Camera grip: €199 (US$223)
- Headphone Studio headphones: €169 (US$190)
- Buds Clip: €179 (US$200)
- Buds Ultra: €199 (US$223)
Extended warranty coverage is also included, such as a 5-year battery warranty and a 3-year EU warranty. Starting now, you can also import global models from regions like HongKong, however the India launch will happen at a later time from what we heard.
