Set in an alternate reality inspired by the 1920s, Iron Harvest is a real-time strategy game that gives you control of giant mechs. Europe is recovering from World War I, and the remains of the mechs that fought during this war were uncovered. But peace is threatened by secret forces, and a new conflict is looming on the horizon.

With more than 20 missions spread across three main campaigns, you'll command three distinct factions, with nine heroes and more than 40 unit types at your disposal. In battle, you'll adapt your strategy to your army. Use your heroes' abilities and the environment for cover. You'll also need to build your base, gather resources, and place fortifications.

The developers at King Art also added a co-op mode, allowing you to play the campaigns with up to three players, as well as a skirmish mode where you can play on various maps.

Players love its design, its soundtrack, and the variety of units available. The campaign and its story are also praised by players. However, many feel that the game lacks strategic depth, and the AI has also come under criticism. In addition, the gameplay is slow. Overall, it has 72% positive reviews out of more than 15,980 reviews on Steam, as well as a Metascore of 75 and a user score of 6.6 on Metacritic.

Although it's currently available for $4.49 with an 85% discount on Steam, its price will return to $29.99 on October 1, 2026, according to SteamDB. Furthermore, two DLCs are also available.
