Two highly rated fantasy RPGs from the developers of Baldur’s Gate 3 are available together on Steam for $10.66 instead of $59.49 for the first time. Combined, the two games have hundreds of thousands of positive reviews and are both Steam Deck Verified.

Steam gamers currently have the chance to pick up two highly rated RPGs from Larian Studios – the developers behind Baldur’s Gate 3 – at a bargain price. Divinity takes players to Rivellon, a medieval-inspired fantasy world populated by humans, elves, dwarves, lizards and numerous magical creatures. The “The Source Saga” bundle includes the Enhanced Edition of the first game as well as the sequel and normally costs $59.49. Until September 21, however, it is 82% off, bringing the price down to $10.66. According to SteamDB, this matches its previous all-time low.

In the first game, players travel with a party led by two so-called Source Hunters to the coastal town of Cyseal to investigate a murder that apparently involved forbidden Source magic. While undead creatures gather outside the city gates and orcs attack the coast, the investigation eventually uncovers a threat to all of Rivellon. Players explore the world from an isometric perspective, engage in conversations, complete quests and assemble a party of companions with different abilities. Combat is turn-based and makes extensive use of the environment: Oil can be set on fire, water can be frozen or wet enemies can be electrocuted. The Enhanced Edition included in the bundle adds, among other things, full English voice acting, new and revised quests, controller support and a local split-screen co-op mode.

The second game takes place around a thousand years later. The ruler and protector of Rivellon, revered as the “Divine,” is dead, allowing monsters from the Void to invade the world. Source users are blamed for the crisis, persecuted and taken to the prison fortress of Fort Joy. Players take on the role of one such prisoner, attempt to escape and subsequently fight to ascend as the new Divine. The sequel expands on the gameplay with a four-member party, different playable races, six heroes with their own stories as well as physical and magical armor. Quests can often be completed in several different ways, while decisions influence how the story unfolds.

Both games are very highly rated on Steam: The first title has an 89% positive rating from more than 33,000 reviews, while the sequel sits at 95% positive from nearly 206,000 reviews. Both titles are also Steam Deck Verified, making the deal particularly interesting for handheld gamers.
