Yamaha unveils compact B200A soundbar for TVs and gaming with Dolby Atmos 3D sound

Yamaha has unveiled the B200A Dolby Atmos compact soundbar, with dual 20-watt drivers and a 30-watt subwoofer, making it ideal for small rooms. It can also be used with computers for video gaming thanks to its Game Sound Mode designed to make subtle footsteps and audio cues easier to hear and pinpoint.

The B200A soundbar is less than two feet long, easily fitting underneath computer monitors and smaller televisions. It has direct HDMI eARC, optical, and AUX connections as well as Bluetooth wireless connectivity. This allows the soundbar to be used with smartphones and digital audio players (DAPs) like the Fiio Snowsky Disc (sold here on Amazon).

The B200A soundbar has four sound modes (Movie, Stereo, Standard, and Game), Clear Voice technology, and selectable Bass Extension to reproduce stereo sound with intelligible speech and rich bass while reproducing spatial audio thanks to Dolby Atmos technology, says Yamaha. 

The Yamaha Sound Bar Remote app can be used to control the B200A from an Android or Apple smartphone. The soundbar can also be controlled with its top-mounted control buttons or a programmed TV remote control.

The 1.8 kg (3.9 lbs) soundbar measures 600 × 64 × 94 mm (23-5/8 × 2-1/2 × 3-3/4 in.).

The Yamaha B200A compact soundbar has an MSRP of $249.95 and will be released in November 2026. Readers can look for its arrival in the Yamaha store on Amazon.
