Anker debuts 150W travel charging station with six ports and slim design

The Anker Travel Charging Station is now available to buy in the US. The new accessory can be used to charge up to six devices at once, eliminating the need to pack multiple adapters when traveling. It should work just as well on a nightstand or desk.

The charging station features four USB-C ports and two extra USB-A ports. USB-C1 and USB-C2 can put out 100W when charging a single device, which is plenty for most laptops and gaming handhelds that charge via USB-C. The rest of the USB-C ports top out at 45W, while the USB-A ports deliver up to 12W. When multiple devices are connected, Anker's PowerIQ 4.0 dynamically distributes the combined 150W output across the ports.

Anker includes overvoltage, overcurrent, and overcharging protection, along with fire-resistant materials. On top of that, ActiveShield 4.0 monitors temperatures during charging to help prevent overheating, especially during overnight charging. However, unlike the Nano Universal Charger (4-in-1, 100W, Smart Display), there is no smart display here to check charging information at a glance.

At 5.9 x 2.7 x 0.87 inches, the Anker Travel Charging Station is smaller than the iPhone 17 (Notebookcheck review) and about as thick as an AirPods case. It is lightweight at 0.64 lb and comes with a braided AC power cable with foldable plugs for easy storage.
