Small 65W charger with two USB-C cables released

ESR unveiled a new power adapter at IFA 2026 with two retractable cables. Built-in retractable cables have become relatively common in power adapters and power banks, but most products only include one.

ESR's new model has two integrated cables, eliminating the need for laptop and smartphone users to carry separate ones. According to ESR, the compact power adapter delivers 65W in total, although its specifications list an output of up to 67W. However, chargers like this are typically marketed as 65W models.

The full 67W output is only available in certain configurations, such as when using the USB-A port or a single cable. When multiple USB-C ports are used simultaneously without the USB-A port, the total power budget is limited to 65W. The same applies when all four ports (3xC; 1xA) are in use. The other output configurations can be seen in the photo at the end of the article.

The charger supports all relevant voltages up to 20V. However, the current is limited to just over 3A, keeping cable requirements relatively low. It also supports AVS from 9V to 20V for finer voltage adjustments. Most importantly, the new ESR charger is scheduled to launch with a Europlug in March 2027. The model shown at IFA was the US version, which has folding prongs. This feature will not be available on the European version. ESR was unable to provide pricing info at this time.
