Beelink intros affordable Intel-powered mini PC with built-in PSU

Beelink has introduced a new configuration for its EQi13 mini PC, and it stands as an affordable option for those who handle light to moderate workloads. For reference, previously, the system was available with the Intel Core i5 13500H, and the option has the 13420H.
Compared to the former, the Intel Core i5 13420H is a slightly less capable option with an 8-core configuration instead of the 12-core setup found on the 13500H. The iGPU also sees a slight downgrade, with the 13420H coming with a 48EU Xe G4 integrated GPU instead of the G7, which has 80EUs.
The good part is that the EQi13 with the Intel Core i5 13420H is capable of handling everyday workloads. It can smoothly handle light to moderate GPU-intensive tasks as well, and media won't be an issue either.
On the EQi13, this Intel Core i5 processor is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 500GB SSD. While the memory isn't upgradeable, there are a total of two M.2 slots that can be equipped with PCIe 4.0 SSDs, and each should be capable of holding up to an 8TB drive. However, Beelink says that the total capacity of the mini PC is 4TB (Lexar 2TB NM790 curr. $299.99 on Amazon).
Another highlight of the mini PC is the built-in PSU, but the overall form factor is quite compact. There's a good selection of ports as well, including:
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
- 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 2x HDMI
- 2x 1GbE LAN
- 1x 3.5mm audio
Other highlights of this affordable mini PC include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a silent cooling setup, and a sleek overall design. The launch price of the EQi13 with the Intel Core i5 13420H is $499, and it's available through the official store.
