The T62P-01 is a newly introduced single-board computer
A new single-board computer is certainly an alternative to a Raspberry Pi, but it features a rather unique architecture. This should make the Debix T62P-01 particularly well-suited for critical real-time applications.

At first glance, the Debix T62P-01 resembles a Raspberry Pi (on Amazon) and can broadly serve as an alternative. However, its architecture differs significantly. The Sitara AM62P SoC combines Cortex-A53 cores with two Cortex-R5F cores designed for real-time processing, making it well suited for time-critical and reliability-sensitive tasks. It does not include an NPU for efficient AI workloads.

The board is available with 2, 4, or 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, with 2 GB as the base configuration. Optional onboard flash storage offers up to 4 GB, while eMMC storage ranges from 8 to 256 GB. As expected for a single-board computer, a microSD card slot is also included. Connectivity is robust: two Gigabit Ethernet ports are provided, one of which supports PoE when paired with a suitable module. The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz) and Bluetooth.

Power is supplied via a dedicated USB Type-C port, with a second USB Type-C port and one USB 2.0 Type-A port available for data connectivity. Unlike the Raspberry Pi, the T62P-01 does not offer HDMI output. Instead, display connectivity is provided via LVDS or MIPI DSI, while MIPI CSI enables camera integration. A standard 40-pin header is also present. Debix has not publicly disclosed pricing.
