Affordable Ugreen travel charger launches with rotating plug design and 65W fast charging

The Ugreen X575 is another new travel charger from the brand, and while the recently introduced 67W power adapter has a screen, this one comes with an interesting rotating design. It has AU, US, UK, and EU plugs, and users can switch from one to another by rotating the bottom half of the unit.

Ugreen says that this swappable plug design makes this travel charger compatible with over 200 countries, and that the stepless rotating mechanism has been rigorously tested for durability. Another important element is that it operates within a 100-200V range, meaning the voltage output from different outlets won't be an issue either.

As for the charger, it has a relatively compact form factor and three USB ports, allowing users to power three devices at the same time. Among the three, two are Type-C ports, while one is a Type-A port. The USB-C1 and USB-C2 max out at 65W, while the USB-A can offer up to 22.5W of fast charging (100W Ugreen 3.3-feet retractable cable curr. $13.99 on Amazon).

When three ports are connected to devices, the USB-C1 will offer up to 45W of fast charging, while the USB-C2 and USB-A will deliver a total of 15W of power. Ugreen also highlights the wide compatibility of this X575 travel charger, including PD, PPS, QC, FCP, and SCP. So, it should be capable of recharging laptops, phones, and low-power devices like headphones and wireless earbuds.

There are multiple protection features to ensure stable charging, and the travel charger has a sleek two-tone finish. Ugreen has launched this portable adapter in China for CNY 169 (about $25), and it could soon be introduced to the global market.
