Ugreen releases a smaller 45W charger with angled display in several countries

Ugreen has released a new compact 45W power adapter with a display in the US, UK, and Germany. A version of this charger was released in China back in May as part of a limited-edition collection alongside the PB610 power bank.

As the name suggests, the Nexode Pro 45W delivers up to 45W through its single USB-C port. A key feature for iPhone users is that it can recognize iPhone models from the iPhone 15, 16, and 17 series and adjust its power output accordingly for faster, safer charging. Ugreen says it can take the iPhone 17 Pro to 70% in 30 minutes. With support for both PD and PPS, it can also charge other iPhones at top speed as well as Samsung phones, tablets, gaming handhelds, and lightweight laptops such as the MacBook Air (Notebookcheck review).

To that end, the new charger competes directly with Anker's new 45W charger (cur: 34.99 on Amazon), which can also detect iPhones, including the latest iPhone 18 Pro lineup. Both chargers also have displays that show real-time power output, temperature, and even custom emojis and illustrations. However, the screen on the Ugreen model is tilted at 45° to make it easier to keep an eye on the charging status once the charger is plugged into a wall outlet or power strip.

The Nexode Pro 45W measures 1.57 x 1.73 x 1.50 inches and has foldable prongs for easy packing. It is now available to buy on Amazon for $34.99 in the US, £35.99 in the UK, and €34.99 in Germany. For alternatives, Anker has a new 45W dynamic power adapter that can ramp up the output to 65W to fast-charge the new iPhone 18 Pro (Max), but it lacks a display.
