Lenovo launches affordable 245W laptop charger with compact design

Lenovo has introduced a new GaN laptop charger, the Lecoo Bellator 245W. It's directly compatible with the Lecoo-branded gaming laptops, and thanks to the 5525 DC plug, it should work with some models from Mechrevo.

With the right DC plug adapter, this laptop charger should also work with gaming laptops in the Lenovo Legion lineup, but it's worth noting that the adapter has a three-pin CN Type I plug. So, for regions outside China, a wall outlet converter would be required.

Getting back to the charger itself, this 245W fast laptop charger utilizes SiC and GaN technologies, and compared to regular power adapters, it's said to be 30% smaller in volume. It's relatively lightweight as well, with Lenovo claiming it to weigh 449.7 grams (about 1lb).

Lenovo further highlights that the built-in cable is 1.5 meters long and features a high-quality, thickened core for a stable power supply. Unlike the Legion C245, there's no built-in display on the cable, and it's worth noting that, unlike the Honor Win 360W GaN power adapter, the wire isn't detachable.

On the bright side, for a 245W fast charger, this new Lenovo Bellator laptop power adapter is affordable. In China, it's available for CNY 249, about $37. It's unlikely to be officially available in the global market, but like the Legion C245W, this should also make its way to platforms like AliExpress.
