Affordable 2-in-1 Cuktech 140W USB-C cable launches with built-in screen

Cuktech has launched a new USB-C fast charging cable, but this one is capable of powering two devices at the same time. Called the Cuktech 10 2-in-1 Smart Cable, it has a total rated power output of 140W, but when both USB-C out 1 and out 2 are connected, one will max out at 112W, while the other can offer up to 25W of power.

Users can see the charging status on the built-in display of this fast charging USB-C cable. It's a 0.96-inch TFT screen, and Cuktech says that the controller inside can detect connected devices and show the battery percentage on the cable's display.

There's support for multiple fast charging protocols, including PPS, AVS, UFCS, SCP, and PD 3.1. The E-Marker chip inside this 2-in-1 cable is said to ensure proper protocol detection and safe charging. Cuktech further highlights that the OPC 2.0 tech can protect the battery health of the connected devices.

Another smart feature of the Cuktech 10 2-in-1 cable is app support. It's compatible with the Xiaomi Home app, and users can monitor the charging status on it. There's an option to manually control the power output, which can be handy for turning connected devices on and off remotely.

Other highlights include 480Mbps data transfer speed (USB 2.0), 1.5m (about 4.92 feet) length, and a braided exterior. In China, this 2-in-1 fast charging cable costs CNY 129, which is around $19, and Cuktech is expected to soon launch it globally. However, for those interested in something similar, the Anker A8895 is already available in the global market, and it comes with 140W fast charging support (available on Amazon). There's no app control or built-in display, though.
