Xiaomi launches new Magnetic Power Bank globally with Qi 2.2 support and 45 W charging
Xiaomi has launched a new power bank globally, less than a month after the 3C certified the device in China. For context, Xiaomi also unveiled a similar power bank about two months ago. While the Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W (Integrated Cable) 2027 has fewer ports and a smaller battery capacity than the Power Bank 20000 22.5W, the former contains a few features that its 20,000 mAh sibling lacks.
For instance, Xiaomi's new power bank supports up to 25 W wireless charging via the Qi 2.2 wireless protocol, surpassing its popular Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank (curr. $53.99 on Amazon). As such, Xiaomi advertises the Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W (Integrated Cable) 2027 with an iPhone 17 Pro Max, claiming it can reach 34% charge from 0% in about 30 minutes when charged wirelessly.
Also, the power bank boasts compatibility with dozens of smartphones, including Xiaomi flagships from the Xiaomi 12 series and later. Likewise, Xiaomi lists several tablets on its compatibility charts. These will make use of up to 45 W wired charging, though, or 15 W from each Type-C port when both are in use simultaneously.
Xiaomi also says the power bank supports real-time temperature monitoring to maximise power delivery and performance from its dual 5,000 mAh cells. The Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W (Integrated Cable) 2027 will be available in black and white colours, both with built-in battery indicators.
