Oppo debuts new 10,000 mAh compact power bank with up to 33 W charging

Last week (15th September), Oppo introduced the new 33 W Pocket Charge power bank in China. Now, the company’s latest charging accessory is currently officially available for purchase in China via Oppo’s official website and other authorized retailers. As for price, the power bank is priced at CNY 149 ($22). Alongside the 10,000 mAh model, Oppo also announced 15,000 mAh and 20,000 mAh variants. Advertised as the compact yet lightweight power bank, it measures 110.6 x 70.6 x 18.1 mm (4.35 x 2.78 x 0.71 inches) and weighs 204 grams (7.2 oz). The Pocket Charge power bank boasts a 10,000 mAh battery capacity and delivers up to 33 W of total power output across two ports (USB-C and USB-A). That should mean faster top-ups for phones, with enough power to charge earbuds and headphones as well. 

Unlike the Ugreen MagFlow Pro (curr. at $99 on Amazon), it lacks a built-in smart display. However, Oppo adds ColorOS integration, which allows users to check the gadget’s battery health, temperature, and remaining charging levels. The catch is that this feature only works with compatible Oppo and OnePlus phones. Moreover, it comes with a Type-C cable that can double as a lanyard. 

The portable charging accessory also comes with upgraded battery safety features, including protection against overcurrent and overcharging. On top of these features, the power bank supports a wide range of charging protocols, including PD, PPS, QC, UFCS, and SUPERVOOC. Buyers can choose from light pink and khaki fragrance colorways. There’s no word on its global availability at the time of writing.
