Oppo officially confirms new 8,000mAh phone with 144Hz AMOLED display
Oppo previously launched the K14 Lite, an affordable 4G smartphone with a 7,000mAh battery. Now, the company has officially confirmed a new model: the Oppo K14 Plus 5G. It is set to launch in India on September 29, 2026.
Ahead of the launch, Oppo’s website and Flipkart microsite have revealed several specifications for the K14 Plus 5G. The phone sports an AMOLED display with a "1.5K" resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits.
It features the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max chipset and a 5,000mm² vapor chamber for cooling. The company claims an AnTuTu V12 benchmark score of more than one million. The phone is listed in three configurations: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB.
It has a 50MP main camera with OIS and 4K video recording. For selfies, it uses a 16MP Sony IMX480 front camera. Notably, the phone packs a large 8,000mAh battery (20K Anker powerbank curr. $42.99 on Amazon). For comparison, the standard K14 features a 7,000mAh battery, and the K14x has an even smaller 6,500mAh cell.
The Oppo K14 Plus 5G comes in Star White and Solar Orange colorways. In other news, Oppo has introduced the new flagship Find X10 with dual 200MP Hasselblad cameras in China.
