Honor officially intros phone with 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery

Honor has officially introduced a new mid-range smartphone in Malaysia: the X9e Pro. The phone’s key highlight is an 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery.

The Honor X9e Pro supports 80W wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging. According to Honor, the phone can provide up to 66.8 hours of video playback.

The phone features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,788 × 1,280 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Honor lists a typical brightness of 800 nits and a high-brightness mode of 2,000 nits. The company also claims that the display can reach a peak brightness of 10,000 nits during full-screen playback of supported video content.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. On the rear, the X9e Pro has a 108MP primary camera with a 1/1.67-inch sensor and OIS. A 16MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls. The rear camera supports video recording at up to 4K resolution.

The X9e Pro carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. It has also received an SGS five-star certification for drop resistance.

Other specifications include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. On the software side, the device ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

Notably, the Honor X9e Pro resembles the Honor X80 Pro Max, which launched in China in June 2026. The X80 Pro Max (curr. $394.87 on TradingShenzhen) also features an 11,000mAh battery and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. However, it has a single 50MP rear camera.

The Honor X9e Pro is now available to pre-order in Malaysia. The base variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at RM1,899 (~$466). Meanwhile, the 8GB/512GB variant is priced at RM2,399 (~$588).
