Honor launches its 8100mAh battery budget phone globally

Honor launched the 600S 5G in Hong Kong a couple of weeks ago, and now the company is launching the phone globally but under different names. In the Latin America (LATAM) region, the handset is arriving as the Honor 600 Elite 5G, while in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, it is being introduced as the Honor X7e Plus 5G. The X7e Plus 5G maintains identical specifications to the original 600S 5G.

However, the Honor 600 Elite 5G sets itself apart from both variants by upgrading to a 108-megapixel primary camera sensor. Both global versions share the same color choices, offering Desert Gold, Velvet Black, and Meteor Silver.

Apart from the primary camera upgrade on the Elite model, the underlying hardware is identical across all three regional iterations. The devices are built around a 6.87-inch TFT LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,020 nits. They are powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset and run Android 16 with MagicOS 10.0 out of the box. A key highlight for the lineup is durability and battery life, featuring an 8,100mAh battery with 45W charging support, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ingress protection, and SGS-certified drop resistance.

Honor has not yet disclosed official global pricing for either the Honor 600 Elite 5G or the Honor X7e Plus 5G. However, the Hong Kong launch of the Honor 600S 5G offers a pricing baseline, as it was listed at HKD 1,999, or approximately $255.
