Honor officially launches phone with 8,100mAh battery

The Honor 600 series includes multiple models. The standard Honor 600 comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, and the more premium Honor 600 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Now, the company has expanded the series with a new budget-friendly model: the Honor 600S 5G.

The Honor 600S 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, an entry-level chipset based on a 4nm process. The device sports a 6.87-inch TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1,592 x 720 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a typical brightness of 860 nits and a peak brightness of 1,020 nits.

In the camera department, the Honor 600S 5G relies on a 50MP rear camera accompanied by an auxiliary sensor. On the front, it has a 5MP camera. One of the key highlights of the Honor 600S 5G is its large 8,100mAh battery. It supports 45W wired charging, though it does not have wireless charging support.

The smartphone carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water-resistance ratings. It measures 8.3mm thick and weighs around 216.5 grams. The phone ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Other features include dual speakers, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a dedicated AI button, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and 5G connectivity.

Pricing

The Honor 600S 5G is now available in Hong Kong. It comes in purple, gold, and black color options. It is listed at HKD 1,999 (~$255) with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
