Key details about the Vivo T5 have been revealed ahead of its launch in India. The device features 5G connectivity, a MediaTek chipset, and a 144Hz AMOLED display.

Vivo is preparing to introduce another model in its mid-range T5 series. The company has confirmed that the Vivo T5 will launch in India on September 2, 2026. This is not to be confused with the Vivo T5 4G, which made its debut in May 2026 with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset.

The upcoming Vivo T5 is confirmed to feature the 5G-enabled MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. On the front, the Vivo T5 features a 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display with a "1.5K" resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The display is rated for up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness.

In the camera department, Vivo has confirmed a 50MP Sony primary camera. Vivo has equipped the T5 with a 7,050mAh battery (20K Anker powerbank curr. $69.99 on Amazon). Despite carrying a large battery, the smartphone measures 7.99mm in thickness. The smartphone will be offered in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colorways.

The Vivo T5 appears to be closely related to the Indian variant of the iQOO Z11. The iQOO model features 44W wired charging, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera, though it remains unclear whether these specifications will carry over to the Vivo device.
