Vivo X500, Oppo Find X10, Xiaomi 18 series global availability details revealed

Much has been said about the global release plans for the upcoming generation of Chinese "Ultra" camera flagship phones. The Xiaomi 18 Ultra, for example, is widely reported to have been canceled entirely, and a new leak has now provided some more clarity on the situation with its peers from Oppo and Vivo.

According to Yogesh Brar, the Vivo X500 Ultra and Oppo Find X10 Ultra will not get global releases. This corroborates a prior report on the matter, and effectively guarantees a dearth of "Ultra" flagships on the market next year, with the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra potentially set to be the only noteworthy option available globally.

Things are different with the non-Ultra models, thankfully. The source claims that both Oppo and Vivo will bring their vanilla and Pro Max flagships to the global market. Vivo, in particular, has begun teasing the Vivo X500 Pro models in China. It's unclear if the X500 Pro will get a global release but it seems the X500 Pro Max will, likely as a stand-in for the Ultra model. 

Xiaomi, however, looks set to launch all of its next-gen flagship phones globally—for the first time ever. Reportedly, the Xiaomi 18, Xiaomi 18 Pro, and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will all be available outside China. As with previous generations, the standard Xiaomi 18 will debut globally early next year, but it's unclear when the other two models get a similar treatment. Whenever the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max gets a global release, though, it's expected to be priced similarly to previous Ultra phones in the series.
