Seestar S50 Pro Smart Telescope launches with two 4K cameras and launch discount

Zwo Astro advertises an aperture of 50 millimeters, or f/5.2. While this telephoto camera is said to be ideally suited for photographing nebulae or star systems, the manufacturer has also included an 8.3 MP wide-angle camera with a 1/2-inch sensor and a 35 mm full-frame equivalent focal length. This camera is said to be perfect for capturing nighttime landscape shots featuring stars or the Milky Way. Both cameras capture photos at a resolution of 2,160 x 3,840 pixels, or 4K in portrait orientation.

Using the telescope is said to be relatively simple via a smartphone app – the celestial body or nebula to be photographed can be selected from a list. The telescope then automatically aligns itself with it and takes a photo at the push of a button. Tracking the celestial object, focusing, and combining multiple images for higher image quality all happen automatically. The telescope has 128 GB of internal storage and a 10,000 mAh battery, which is designed to provide nine hours of runtime.
