Oppo releases phone with 8,000mAh battery and 6.57-inch AMOLED display

The Oppo K15 series includes several mid-range devices including the standard Oppo K15, K15 Pro, and K15 Pro Plus. Now, the company has expanded the series with the K15s.

The Oppo K15s features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,372 x 1,080 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also offers storage expansion via a microSD card (128GB SanDisk microSD card curr. $35.99 on Amazon).
One of the notable features of the phone is its large 8,000mAh battery. It supports 45W wired charging but lacks wireless charging.
The camera setup consists of a single 50MP rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture. Rear video recording tops out at 1080p at 60 fps. For selfies, the K15s relies on an 8MP front camera. Connectivity options include NFC, Wi-Fi 5, and dual-SIM 5G. The device measures 8.8 mm thick and weighs approximately 205 grams.
The Oppo K15s appears to be based on the Chinese Oppo A7 Pro, but comes in different colorways: Wind Trace Purple and Shadow Grey. The memory configurations also differ. While the A7 Pro starts with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the K15s starts with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The 6GB/128GB variant of the Oppo K15s is listed at CNY 1,699 (~$253), while the 8GB/256GB version is listed at CNY 1,999 (~$298).
