Oppo’s wide non-folding phone is shaping up to be the Huawei Pura X View killer

Oppo is said to be working on its own wide non-folding phone following Huawei’s Pura X View. It is unclear what this phone will be called, but the latest information hints at the battery capacity, cameras, and the processor.
As per Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the wide bar phone from Oppo will feature the Dimensity 9600M chip, which is essentially a rebranded Dimensity 9500. Two of the cameras on the back will be 200 MP each. One of these will carry the ISOCELL HPE sensor, while the other will come with an ISOCELL HP5. All this will reportedly be backed by around an 8,000 mAh battery.
In a previous post, the same leaker had mentioned that this phone would have a 16:9 aspect ratio for the display with equally narrow bezels on all sides. He added that it will come in under 85 mm thickness. Another leaker then mentioned that this Oppo phone will have a 6.35-inch 1.5K 120 Hz display, as well as a third 50 MP ultrawide shooter. It could be called the Oppo Reno X.
For reference, the Huawei Pura X View has a 6.39-inch screen and measures 144.1x87x6.7 mm. It is a fairly compact phone with the Kirin 9030S chip, a triple camera setup, and a 7,000 mAh battery. It looks like Oppo will have the Pura X View beat in the camera, processor, and battery departments, all while being slightly slimmer.
It should be noted that Oppo has not shared any plans for a wide bar phone yet, and there is no information on a release date.
